New Year’s Bling

If there’s ever one time of year when it’s appropriate to bust out the sparkle, it’s definitely New Year’s Eve. Since that’s coming up soon, I thought I’d share with you my picks for adding that sparkle, radiance and glow into your routine for the night.

Starting with skincare, time to slough off those dead skin cells with the Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Enzyme Mask, which smells delicious while helping to smooth and brighten your skin. Feeling tired under the eyes from the stress of the holidays? Pop on the Skyn Iceland Hydro Cool Firming Eye Gels for ten minutes and voila, undereye puffiness is gone. For the body, I’m not too fond of actual shimmer, but using a body oil can give the skin a lovely glow – my pick is the L’Occitane Almond Smoothing and Beautifying Supple Skin Oil, which again, smells yummy, and moisturizes the skin wonderfully.

For makeup, the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Dim Light is a no-brainer for all over the face. To amp up the glow, why not add some of MAC’s Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft & Gentle? It sounds subtle, but there are definite particles of shimmer and glitter, which make it perfect for a night out. For the eyes, nothing beats a cream formula that glimmers and lasts all night. My picks are Laura Mercier’s Caviar Stick in Rosegold, Gosh Forever Eyeshadow in Light Copper, and LOC ❤ Tati’s One & Done Shadow Stick in Day Trip, which is a burnished deep gold.

Lastly, for the lips, I’ve chosen a pretty neutral one, but it’s still got gold shimmer running through it – the Bite Beauty Lush Fruit Lip Gloss in Honey.

What are your picks for getting your glow on for New Year’s?
